GustoArte's founder

GustoArte was born from our passion for all the artistic expressions. It doesn't matter we talk about literature, visual arts or other.

Salvo Mandarà, founder of GustoArte, has spent almost 10 years in promoting his father's artworks. Giuseppe Mandarà is a Sicilian artist(Vittoria, Rg), and is the author of a very particular collection of black & white Lithographs.

During 2004 summer holidays, Salvo Mandarà casually meet the founders of a company operating on a completely different, but not less interesting artistic field: handicraft Brewery! Yes, we are talking about beer, you've got it. Believe it or not, we really think that producing a beer using only handicraft and natural procedures, with no trade off on quality, so in absolutely NON industrial volumes, is a real art expression: the art of the taste! We have found such characteristics of taste artists with the 4 founders of a newborn microbrewery operating in Vittoria(Rg), exactly the same city as the visual artist Giuseppe Mandarà.

Thanks to this idea, in less than one year GustoArte and its new owner, Angela Laurent Rabodonirina, turns a brand only known in the South East of Sicily, in the most drunk Sicilian handycraft beer in the Centre-North Italy and even in Canada.

In 2007, the founders of the microbrewery decided to continue to market their product now very popular trhough other channels.

This means it's now time for GustoArte to find a new challenge and launch some other artistic expression together with the Lithographs of the Sicilian Artist Giuseppe Mandarà.
